The landmark Art Deco Rex Theatre in Charlton provides cinema and live performance for rural and regional communities in the north western region of Victoria.
The Rex Theatre is a working theatre museum, celebrating the golden age of cinema and its ongoing place in our lives. It is fully run and operated by dedicated volunteers from the Charlton and surrounding communities of the Buloke region.

The Rex Theatre will be closed temporarily from
Wednesday 18 March 2015
for renovation work to be carried out on the stage.
Please keep an eye on this site for details about the
Theatre re-opening scheduled for mid to late April.
