The landmark Art Deco Rex Theatre in Charlton provides cinema and live performance for rural and regional communities in the north western region of Victoria.
The Rex Theatre is a working theatre museum, celebrating the golden age of cinema and its ongoing place in our lives. It is fully run and operated by dedicated volunteers from the Charlton and surrounding communities of the Buloke region.

Charlton Arts Cafe Culture Show

This five piece dixieland style jazz band recreates an
authentic silent movie experience from the 1920s by
providing live music accompaniment to the Buster Keaton
silent feature film Steamboat Bill Jr. as well as the Laurel
and Hardy short film Wrong Again. (Details TBA)
