The landmark Art Deco Rex Theatre in Charlton provides cinema and live performance for rural and regional communities in the north western region of Victoria.
The Rex Theatre is a working theatre museum, celebrating the golden age of cinema and its ongoing place in our lives. It is fully run and operated by dedicated volunteers from the Charlton and surrounding communities of the Buloke region.
The Rex will be re-opening for
Sunday 28 June with
Due to changes resulting from the renovations the Rex heating system
While a temporary replacement will be operating, patrons are advised
to dress warmly,and are welcome to bring blankets, doonas, hot water bottles, etc
The Rex apologizes for this inconvenience, but encourages patrons to
come prepared for this situation.
